Ol' Football Head

I was taking photos of high-school football practice in 1979 or '80, and was watching a quarterback named Tony practice pitching the ball to running backs.

I don't know why I decided to do this — maybe I was bored — but I lined up just right and got a nice shot of the quarterback, the ball and the runner. You couldn't see Tony's head; the ball was in the way, making him look like ol' Football Head (at first, I thought of Ol' Pumpkin Head).

I doubt I used the picture. It was just me playing around. I may have given the photo to Tony, or we may have put a copy of it on the wall at the newspaper. I don't remember; it's been at least 36 years.
