Up in arms (perhaps a better way to do the National Anthem)

I just read a story about NFL TV ratings going down since Colin Kaepernick and other players are kneeling, bowing or raising their fists during the National Anthem.

Personally, I don't see how any of those things will help blacks or the civil rights cause. I only see improvement if blacks and whites do something together.

Instead of sitting, kneeling or raising fists, perhaps black and white players could stand together with their arms linked or arms around each other's shoulders during the anthem.

At least it would be a positive move, not something that Americans see as disrespectful to soldiers, the country and the flag. Remember: Team, like country, is all about we, not me.
