I'm not big into zombie movies (at all), so I'm a little leery about the Strange New Worlds episode Shuttle to Kenfori. It's all about Klingon and human zombies, so I'll go into the third episode of season three with trepidation.
I've begun watching the episode. I haven't been scared yet, although I jumped once.
The worst thing so far is Number One's hair (looks like a hairy helmet). On a scale of one to 10, it's a minus four. What were they thinking?
I finished. I wasn't scared at any point. I knew Pike and M'Benga would be fine, since they're part of canon. Captain Batel is not.
They've decided that the Chimera Blossoms will merge Batel's DNA with Gorn DNA. Which makes me think that Batel will be the Gorn that Kirk faces in Arena from The Original Series. Or not.
The B plot features pilot Erica Ortegas, being insubordinate to bad-haired Number One. We like Ortegas because of her quick wit, spunk and other great qualities, not because of insubordination.
I likely won't watch this episode again.
