THINKING OF THE DOLPHINS
The other day, I was trying to remember a wide receiver the Miami Dolphins took ninth overall in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
He became a better kick or punt returner than a receiver, and he wound up playing for several teams (Dolphins, 49ers, Panthers, Cardinals, Saints and Bears).
I knew he had a short name, but it wouldn't come to me.
Just now, I was thinking about something else and Ted Ginn Jr. popped into my head. Why was I thinking of Ted Ginn Jr.? He wasn't a great Dolphin; for a while, he wasn't even a memorable one.
