I'm watching an Ironside episode called The Challenge in which Ironside's friend is murdered some time after they played chess.
Interestingly, the first victim was Cec Linder, who played James Bond's Felix Leiter in Goldfinger. One suspect (and later victim) was Nicholas Colasanto, who played Coach on Cheers.
Another of the suspects was Coleen Gray, who was one of the stars of Red River, along with John Wayne, Montgomery Clift and Joanna Dru; Gray also joined Raymond Burr in at least one Perry Mason episode. The final suspect was Sue Ane Langdon, an offbeat character actress from the 1960s.
It was an eclectic group.
I tried to watch a show on Roku called The Coroner, but I couldn't finish the episode. That happens sometimes.
They put the 1970s show Emergency! on Roku, and I'll watch some episodes. I just found Coleen Gray on Emergency!
I just watched the TV movie for The Six Million Dollar Man, and I recognized two faces, Martin Balsam, Steve Austin's doctor, and Barbara Anderson, his nurse. Anderson played Eve Whitfield on Ironside. I don't know if Anderson ever spoke in the movie.
I obviously recognized Lee Majors.
On Ironside, I just recognized William Boyett, who played Sgt. Mac Donald on Adam-12. Ed Brown was interviewing him and someone else. I also recognized Vera Miles (the amnesia patient in the episode) and Phillip Carey (the Texas Rangers captain from the TV show Laredo).
